In 2007, Fivelements was conceived as an integrated wellness lifestyle company whose authentic destinations offer an opportunity for inspiration, awareness and progress in the 21st century. Its focus is on designing high impact wellness strategies aimed at supporting individuals, couples and organisations enduring life transitions and transformation.
Motivated by a vision for a better, happier and healthier world, our guests and partners have come to be known as “the change-makers of today and tomorrow.”
Fivelements Retreat Bali opened in late 2010 as the first of a new genre of wellness destinations bridging the wisdom of traditional healing cultures with innovative wellness concepts. To date, the eco-wellness retreat has been recognised with 25 international awards spanning across hotel, wellness, spa, culinary and sustainable design industries. Fivelements has earned its position as an innovative leader in wellness concept design, retreats and programmes, plant-based innovative cuisine and wellness hospitality worldwide.

HEALING MASSAGE
A massage, unte pangir body scrub massage and a cleansing ritual
Feel the ancient secret of Batak Toba’s cleansing ritual, the Marpangir Ritual. A local tradition in Toba utilizing kefir lime / unte pangir as the main ingredient. This treatment begins with a body massage, applying a slow enveloping motions inspired by the Balinese massage techniques, including acupressure, skin rolling, gentle stroking, and percussion. A multi-sensory journey that frees the emotions and relaxes your body. Followed by a powdered rice scrub, combined with kefir lime, galangal, nutmeg, pandan leaf, clove, piper betel, and aloe vera extract. A relaxing experience designed to exfoliate, cleanse impurities from the skin cell and revitalize dull skin to restore skin suppleness, glow and radiance. The treatment concludes by relaxing in the private water therapy bath infused with epsom salt, keffir, and andaliman essences.

Lake Toba is located 900 meters above sea-level, offering a picturesque landscape of clear waters surrounded by mountains and a cool climate. A powerful combination of Shanti aromatherapy oil and sound healing to elevate the vibrational level and frequency of the body: physically, emotionally and energetically. Vibrational sound therapy can retune your body, mind and spirit, encouraging relaxation, healing and wellness. This one-on-one service uses therapeutic sound of a singing bowl that is placed on the body to create a combination of tones and vibrations that produces a state of tranquility and acts as a messenger for the nervous system. Sacred Arts
Yoga at Fivelements is open for practitioners from all levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. This session commences with a brief welcome and introduction, followed by a mindfulness practice that will relax and center the body and mind before the asanas or poses. Our experienced instructor will guide you through various poses and techniques helping you find your equilibrium, this session will close with a savasana or relaxation. Guests will be introduced to yoga asanas and its benefits for the body, mind, and spirit as they deepen their knowledge in the practice.

This class is designed for beginners and all-level students to increase and to rejuvenate body awareness, flexibility, strength, balance, concentration, as well as relaxation. The word Vinyasa means ‘breath-synchronized movement.’ This style of yoga is often called Vinyasa Flow because of the smooth and continuous way of how the asanas sequence is carried out. Yin and Yang comes from an ancient Chinese philosophy that implies balance. It describes opposites energies and that one is a reference point of the other. Without dark, there is no light and the other way around. One cannot exist without the other. This practice involves a combination of dynamic movements from the stronger and more masculine side of the Yang and slow passive poses from the softer and more feminine side of the Yin.
